How to build duck's house bamboo, adorable little yellow ducks

1. Material Preparation

  • Bamboo: Choose fresh bamboo plants, about 5-7cm in diameter, the length depends on the size of the duck house you want to build. Bamboo needs to be dried to avoid termites.
  • Rope or zinc wire: For fastening and securing bamboo rods.
  • Roofing or palm leaves: To make a roof, create a cool environment for ducklings.
  • Tools: Knives, scissors, saws, hammers, nails, and other cutting tools.

2. Design and erect the house frame

  • Determine the size: Depending on the number of ducklings, determine the size of the house. For example, a house for 5-10 ducks can be about 1m x 1m wide and 0.5m high.
  • Making the frame of the house:
    • Use long bamboo sticks to build the main frame.
    • Secure the bamboo bars in the base and top of the house with rope or zinc wire.
    • The frame of the house can be rectangular or square depending on your design.
  • Erecting the partitions:
    • Use thin bamboo to make a partition around it.
    • Weave the bamboo sticks together to form a mesh or shield.
  • Making Doors:
    • Leave a small passage just enough for the ducklings to enter and exit.

3. Roofing

  • Using roofing or palm leaves:
    • Cover the roof to cover the sun, rain and provide shade for the ducklings.
    • Plastic sheets or palm leaves can be used, depending on local conditions.
  • Fasten the roof to the frame:
    • Use rope or zinc wire to fasten the roof to the frame of the house.
    • Make sure the roof is closed, do not let rainwater inside.

4. Interior layout

  • Floor Lining:
    • Use straw, dry leaves or sand to lay the foundation, giving the ducklings a warm place to rest.
  • Arrangement of feeding and drinking troughs:
    • Place feeders and drinking water in or near the door to make it easier for the ducklings to receive
