Two sisters - Harvesting grapefruit in the garden and bringing it to the market to sell

 


Early in the morning, the dawn sun gently shines through the green foliage, making Mr. Bay's family's garden bright and full of vitality. The two sisters, Hanh and Huong, have been preparing since yesterday night, ready for the first pomelo harvest day of the year.

Hanh, the eldest sister, wore a light purple three-colored dress, and walked out into the garden with wooden clogs. Huong, the youngest sister, wears a blue long-sleeved shirt, wears a leaf hat on her head, and holds a bamboo basket in her hand. The two walked through the rows of grapefruit trees full of fruit. The large, round grapefruits, plump skin, iridescent yellow color stand out against the background of green leaves, looking beautiful.

Hanh reached out to gently pick the grapefruit one by one, being careful not to damage the peel. Huong quickly received the grapefruit from her hand, put it in a bamboo basket, and then continued to move to another tree. The fresh air in the early morning, the chirping of birds, all create a peaceful and vibrant picture of the countryside.

When the grapefruit basket was full, the two sisters carried the basket together to the garden gate. There, Mr. Bay has prepared a bicycle to carry pomelo to the market. Arriving at the market, the two sisters chose a small corner and displayed grapefruit at the stall. The round, golden grapefruit attracts the attention of passers-by. Customers come to ask for prices, taste, and praise the juicy grapefruit, thin skin, and gentle aroma. Hanh and Huong happily chatted and invited customers. The sound of laughter filled the whole corner of the market.

After just a few hours, the grapefruit baskets were almost gone. The two sisters cleaned up the stall, counted the money they sold and then returned home together. On the way back, the two were constantly discussing plans for the next harvest season, joy shining in their eyes.

The day of the grapefruit harvest ended in joy and happiness. The two sisters not only sell a lot of grapefruit, but also feel the love and attachment in the family. They understand that, although the work is hard, thanks to solidarity, love and hard work, everything becomes light and complete
